Beijing Book Donation

Leo Gallery will hold a silent charity auction to benefit The Library Project's (Sichuan) Earthquake Relief Program. We will auction original Matisse prints from Saturday, November 28th until Sunday, December 6th. Each print is mounted on conservation paper and framed beneath museum-quality, non-glare glass. Beijing Rotary's Annual Christmas Charity Bazaar

The Library Project will have a booth celebrating the 15 rural elementary school libraries that the Beijing Rotary helped make possible this past year at the Chrostmas Charity Bazaar. The Bazaar is one of the major fund-raising event and tradition of the Rotary Club of Beijing, an internationally acclaimed volunteering service organization, to support new and ongoing charity programs in mainland China. The bazaar will consist of over 80 Christmas shopping stalls on fashion, accessories, gifts, health, beauty products, etc. There will be various performances, such as singing, dancing, yoga. Free hair styling, makeup, and wine tasting for the big kids (adults). Along with an active kids corner so that parents can shop freely.

Enjoy good food, meet new people and lend a helping hand. You are cordially invited to join us for the 3rd annual event in support of The Library Project. The event consists of delicious food, and fun and games for all, including free giveaways, and activities for children and adults. There will be both a silent as well as a live auction throughout the night – with fantastic items on which to bid. OUR GOAL: Each Library costs roughly $1,000.
